Approaching Snow Storm ( Giclee Print on canvas)
My first studio in Santa Fe had second floor views. During winter, I’d set my plein-air easel in front of the east facing window. I was ready to capture the storms that built up and breached the mountains to roll over Santa Fe. Having discovered how glorious the eastern sky can reflect the setting sun in the west, I now always pay attention to what may be happening behind my back , as I gaze at the glories of a western sunset.
