The skies in New Mexico are a constant revelation. Riding home from a day painting north of Ghost Ranch, I was captured by a panoramic view. Layered jet streams moved in different directions as they carried assorted clouds across the landscape! I painted a smaller, rougher version in 2009(?). But the imagery became stuck in my brain… and years later during Covid-isolation I lovingly put that memory onto canvas.
