Artist statement - WHY I DO WHAT I DO ?

I was given a talent, and it has been a gift that I have fought for!
Through the good and bad decades, I lived for my dream.
To ever become MY BEST ARTIST, through painting.
I have cherished this gift every step of the way!

I paint my loves and dreams and sometimes the anguish of living.
Expressed with each color choice and brushstroke I choose to use.
Every painting reflects my gratitude for the experiences of my living in our world.
This amazing REALITY! It is so beautiful and so painfully challenging; fragile and harsh.
TO BE AWARE AND EXISTING WITHIN THIS GRAND VASTNESS OF THE UNIVERSE!
To know such evolving and continual awareness; it's magic!
